Thor Security Consultants Ltd was established to provide a quality and professional
training service for those who work within the security industry as door supervisors or security operatives.
The founders have worked within the security industry for the last 10 years and have gained a wealth of experience
from the provision of professional and registered door supervisors to being a local authority approved training provider.
In February 2004 Thor Security Consultants Ltd became an accredited training provider for
the NEW national training course for Door Supervisors and Security Operatives. This
was approved and accredited by both the British Institute of Inn-keeping (BIIAB) and Edexcel who are two
of the awarding bodies for the Security Industry Authority.
We offer mobile training services to organisations that have group bookings of 10 or more candidates; all our instructors
have either one or more of the following qualifications:
- City & Guild 7307 in Adult Education.
- Conflict
Management Instructors Qualifications.
- A minimum of 5 years operational experience within their
chosen field.
- All instructors are certified NVQ A1 Assessors.
The Private Security Act 2001 and
the Security Industry Authority have stated that anyone wishing to work within the security industry must attend and complete
a recognised training course by a Security Industry Authority approved training company before they can obtain their licence.
